Tom worked for Burroughs Corporation out of college and this is where he was introduced to Timberline Software. In 1982, Tom founded Tundra Data, a Timberline Solution Provider in Lakewood, Colorado. Tom led his company's marketing, sales and support efforts of accounting and estimating systems for construction and property management firms. Since its inception, Tundra Data, an Authorized Solution Provider for Timberline, has consistently been recognized as one of Timberline's top solution providers and has won numerous awards for sales and support.
Prior to Tundra Data, Tom's first experiences in the construction industry was being brought up in a family where his father, a homebuilder, gave him first-hand understanding of the needs of residential homebuilders. Drawing from this background and his expertise in information management for residential contractors, Tom, along with his partners, created the "ProHome" concept, a production homebuilder management solution that integrates with Timberline's estimating and accounting software. Due to the success of the ProHome system, Tom formed Builder MT (Builder Management Technology) for the further development and distribution of the ProHome system. Builder MT is also involved in consulting with builders on "Best Practices" in the homebuilding business. In the role of President, Tom directs the marketing, sales and overall management of BuilderMT. ProHome was changed to "Timberline Production Management" as part of Sage Timberline Office for Residential. Production Management currently has over 650 production homebuilders in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and The United States as clients as of January 2007.
Tom Gebes has published several industry articles providing tips for homebuilders to improve their business practices by effectively defining their needs and taking advantage of technology. Tom has also spoke at the National, State and Local homebuilder associations on process improvement and the use of technology within the homebuilding industry. In 2006, Tom Gebes was awarded #40 out of Builder Magazine's Top 50 Most Influential in Home Building Nationally as well as a Finalist in Ernst and Young's Entrepreneur of the Year in the Rocky Mountain Region.
Tom also manages all strategic partnership relationships, business development and sales and marketing.

Rick Newberg is Vice President of Estimating Services at BuilderMT. As such, he is responsible for all Consulting Services as they relate to Estimating databases and consultation that are provided to our clients. In addition, Rick also continues to design and build client databases.
Rick is a Certified WMS Consultant, a Certified Timberline Precision Estimating Consultant and has over 25 years experience in the construction industry. With a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from the University of Denver, Rick has worked as a Field Engineer, Superintendent, Project manager, Estimator, Chief Estimator and Area Manager for several large general contractors. He has worked as an independent estimating consultant for the past fifteen years.
In helping to create the Workflow Management Solution over the past twelve years, he has gained extensive experience with the residential building industry and the Best Business Practices that apply to it. Rick has spoken at numerous industry functions, software user conferences and selected universities regarding the place and purpose of estimating, purchasing and workflow processes in the residential construction business.

Alicia joined the BuilderMT team in February 1999 bringing with her over 14 years of experience in the engineering procurement and construction management industry. Working for industry giants Flour Daniel and Raytheon Engineers & Constructors, she was instrumental as a leading purchasing agent / subcontract administrator on several projects including the over $200 million dollar Newmont Gold grass roots project in Batu Hijau Indonesia. Project experience includes, negotiating key supplier agreements, and legal terms and conditions with major suppliers such as GE Electric and Anixter Wire & Cable, auditing internal procedures, and leader in negotiated cost savings.
As Director of Operations at BuilderMT, Alicia oversees all facets of the daily operation of the organization. She ensures that sound legal policies and procedures are followed, including compliance with contract requirements and with statutes and regulations applicable to the organization. Alicia manages relationships with vendors, including entering into agreements and contracts on behalf of the organization along with initiating and overseeing all programs.
